Well, I'm Detect Surface, Creative Mind behind The Brain Game and Owner of D&D Creative Labs.
Building stuff is the name of my game, and I play hard ball... When it comes to stuffing high amounts of prims into an AV or designing construction eye candy, I like to think of myself as a Professional Prim Pornstar... and a daym fine one to boot :P
I've done a lot of different things whilst living my Second Life, mainly creating things that turn up in my mind at random intervals. Of which, mecha, vehicles, construction, shoes, clothing, shapes, skins, textures, weapons, basically I like to do everything.
Skills in advanced design, illustration, photo-relaistic images, sound production, web and cooking, I really do like to get hands on with everything and anything I find of interest.
You'll more than likely find me pondering around the shop at the great city of Abaddon, one of SL's most detailed Sims, and my own. The city itself is based around Post Apoc times, where Crashed Buses meet Energy Generators.
Here you'll find D&D Creative Lab 4: The Main Complex.
D&D Four? I hear you say... Yes, D&D is numbered after the places its been, as I like to move around and rebuild things, so basically, my aim is to get to 100 by the end of the year.
D&D One was in Drepana, a nice old sim where I first got started with my little shoppy, selling some bits and bobs, and the birthplace of two little mechas called Kravatac and Blood Gauge, the first of the Cyver range thats now so popular in Second Life.
Moving from there, D&D spread out a bit and expanded to its super store in Alderia, with D&D Two. Changing its form several times, this became the longest standing shop to date and was home to many Cyvers and Vehicles to come.
Although D&D Three never really opened, the building was nice, even though only one or two people saw it. This was going to be a japanese style building, with a range of clothing in that style. But, it never panned out lol... I had too much to do and could never get around to doing the clothes... I say 'had too much work', I really mean I couldn't be bothered...
After playing and doing some very hard work, involving sitting around staring at walls, I went with a partnership with Orochimaru, me SL bruddah and also a great builder to create the amazing city of Abaddon. The city spans 3 quarters of a sim, with everything from a 300 meter tall skyscraper, gas station, subway, back alleys, warehouses, car park, appartments to rolling barrels, wind flowing newspapers, cans of pop, debre, subtle lighting, shadowing and manholes.
Orochimaru and Pru joined forces to create whats looking to be one of SL's prime weapons developments, combining amazingly detailed and texture mapped builds and complex, lagless and intelligent scripting to create some original and inexpensive products.
D&D is looking to expand in this new endevor, as new Cyvers are being created and in the pipeline, looking to be some of the most original pieces in SL, not that am blowing my own trumpet... or that I can blow my own trumpet for that matter...
